Glass Memorial is a very special group of people. I am so thankful that God led my family here. The very first time we came here to fill in, everyone made us feel at home. Everyone treats us just like we are family, and you don’t find that just everywhere! We have only been here a year and a half but it has been a very rewarding and special time. I’m thankful we are here and look forward to the future here serving our Lord together. Thank you Glass Memorial, for the principles on which you were established, the faith on which you were built, and the word on which you stand. God Bless our Church & God Bless You All!
I’ve attended this small country church all my life. As I grew up I would come to church almost every Saturday with my dad to either help clean the church, mow the yard, play outside, or go to the Shelly’s to play. I remember all the church activities. suppers, to name a few. taught me about the Bible. I think back and can still see all the members of the old church that God has already called salvation. On August 14, 1971, I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and on August 29, 1974, I was baptized and became a member of Glass Memorial. I have not always been as faithful as I should have been. I even quit coming to church for about ten years until one day I realized that God was calling me back. After the passing of my dad I really knew what God wanted for me. I rededicated my life to God in 1986. I thank God for all the loving, caring people that have made a difference in my life over the years here at Glass Memorial. As of this writing I still attend Glass Memorial Baptist Church with my wife and children. May God continue to work in the lives of the people that make up Glass Memorial, so that one day we may all hear our Saviour say, “Well done thy good and faithful servant.”
The most memorable moments for me in this church are the times when I was a young kid and would come to church with the Shelly Family and first hearing about salvation. This later led me to my salvation and gave me the strength and knowledge of this would have been possible. All my thanks are due to Glass Memorial and God.
